This week’s top frock comes to us from the one and only Oscar de la Renta: Feast your eyes on this silk faille princess-seam trumpet gown from the designer’s spring 2012 collection.
For the its runway debut, ODLR paired the dress with a feathered rabbit fur bolero, fingertip horsehair-trim veil, floral crystal-embroidered silver belt, crystal earrings, white gloves, and lace peep-toe platform pumps. Phew! That’s a lot of luxe accessories.
We love this look for winter brides, natch, but spring and summer brides could easily get in on this fashion action by simply ditching the furry bolero and little white gloves.
And for brides who love this look but hate the idea of wearing fur, there are plenty of faux options–check out the collection of jackets and wraps from Fabulous Furs at Lily & Iris in Salt Lake City.
