We’ve seen fifty shades of gray and waves of blush pink. And at the spring 2013 bridal collections, a crimson tide washed over bridal fashion’s sea of white. Red and burgundy are currently trendy in fashion, beauty, and home decor, so it’s not surprising the bold, rich hues trickled down to Bridal Fashion Week’s catwalks. Associated with joy and good fortune, red is traditionally the color of choice for brides in Eastern cultures. Will it become popular with Western brides, too?
